On Wednesday, July 14, LAGOS partnered with Philadelphia magazine to present the 2021 Trailblazer Awards, spearheaded by the flagship LAGOS Rittenhouse boutique, which is celebrating 25 years in the community.
The event honored two powerful female leaders who have made a lasting impact on Philadelphia over the past year. This year, the award was presented to Dr. Ala Stanford, Founder & CEO of Black Doctors COVID-19 Consortium. Dr. Stanford facilitated COVID testing of 25,000 people throughout the city’s marginalized communities.
In addition to the Trailblazer Award, Philadelphia Magazine honored Allison Bassman, Director of People and Culture at Penn Interactive, for being a young, up-and-coming, luminary leader in the community.
Both award winners proudly wore LAGOS for the event as they mingled with guests, held media interviews and posed for photos. Dr. Stanford looked radiant in Blue Caviar while Allison shined in Caviar Spark. News anchor Alicia Vitarelli, the event’s MC, wore a pair of Luna statement earrings while Philadelphia Magazine Publisher Eileen Adelsberger stacked up selections from our 18K Caviar Gold and Signature Caviar collections.
While LAGOS is known for our signature Caviar beading and classic fine jewelry, we’re equally focused on our brand values: have integrity, show strength, be smart. They define our brand culture and are clearly represented by the trailblazers honored at this event.
In appreciation for their contributions to the community, both women departed with a classic Caviar bracelet to help them look and feel their most confident every day.
