Hello Everyone,

It’s been 43 years since I started LAGOS. Today, we are facing the greatest challenge ever.

The threat to both the physical safety and economic livelihood of our people has forced me to make decisions that were unfathomable to me — even 30 days ago. America has shut down and we are all being asked to do our part to defeat this deadly virus.

To this end, we made the decision last month to suspend our retail operations throughout the country.

As an American, this decision is the right thing to do. As an employer, it is devastating. LAGOS is our people.

Over the many years, we have become family. We have shared birthdays, anniversaries, holidays — marking milestones of life through our work and our jewelry.

While jewelry may not be the most important thing right now, it often reminds us of an event or time that gives life meaning and connects us with our loved ones. During these hard times I urge everyone to remember these moments and stay optimistic.
